Lemurs live on the island of Madagascar and the
Comoros Islands off of the East Coast of Africa.
Diet
Lemurs will eat fruit, leaves and sometimes insects.
Habitat
Lemurs have several different habitats on Madagascar
ranging from rainforests to dry areas of the island.
Size
Lemurs vary in size but average about 2 ft (not including
the tail).*
Reproduction
The female lemur's pregnancy period is about 2 - 5
months and usually will have one or two offspring.
