A pack is a group of animals that lives and hunts together.
People hunt for moose too.
WHERE THEY LIVE
Moose live in evergreen forests.
Evergreen trees have needles instead
of leaves.
Moose like to live near lakes, rivers,
and swamps.
Moose live in the north where it is
very cold in the winter.

* The moose is a member of the deer family. It is the biggest member of the deer family.
* Moose are known for their odd shape. Male moose have huge antlers. Each winter the antlers fall off. Each spring they grow new ones.
* Moose are good swimmers. They dive under the water to find plant roots to eat.
